The refresh speed does appear quicker. I noticed comments about other users that their puta slowed down after a week. From what I have seen, maybe they need to open the program from the start menu and run the program as maintenace (much like defrag), but at this point I can't be sure. I have been told Windows XP doesn't need to be defraged due to the C:\ formatt method, but either way you get a nice warm fuzzy if you started putas in the 90s and consider defreg a regular maintenance procedure. Liked the view of the RAM. Its nice to guage how its going. Maybe would be good if the program would record the last time it was run due to the message "do not repeat within one hour". In the case of our home PC with several users, it would help eliminate the possibility of running it twice in succession. The installation was quick and efficient and the first part of the speed-up process ran smoothly enough. The hard disk speed-up started and that, too, ran well until the end of the defragmentation section when the program froze.
